Our appreciation to Jim Orman for providing this information.

RecordSeek Tree Connect, a free program developed by Ohana Software, is in partnership with FamilySearch to offer the latest aid in capturing source information outside of FamilySearch and then adding it immediately to your FamilySearch Source Box.
                     It's Free

With the partnership of “Tree Connect,” it is now easy to capture source information from anywhere on the web and then have it placed it in your Source Box in FamilySearch with minimal effort. The application is free and easy to put onto your computer. Here is how you do it.

Go to the website www.recordseek.com (you can click on this link.). When the homepage appears, left click and drag the green Tree Connect button to your toolbar and release. You can also put it into your favorites list.
Once you have discovered a webpage source you wish to add to your Source Box on FamilySearch, simply click on the “Tree Connect” tab on your tool bar. You will be directed to sign into your FamilySearch account.  Then a source form will appear partially filled out. It is recommended that you create your own source title that will help you recognize the source in the future. Next enter identifying information in the “Describe the Record” box. Once this is completed, click the “Save” button. The source is then saved to your Source Box for you to attach to the appropriate person or persons in your family records.

Take a few minutes to see a video/webinar about how to use Tree Connect?  Click here to see the Video Read the paragraph below the screen of the video.

Note: The St. George FamilySearch  Library has numerous subscription sites that are free to all patrons at the FamilySearch Library but which  require payment elsewhere. Please be aware that information captured with "Tree Connect" from a pay-sites may only be viewable by those who have a paid access to that subscription site. If that is a concerned, it might be worth putting detailed information into the "Creating a Source " when adding source information gathered from a subscription site into the FamilySearch source site .
As you watch the above video, you will hear/see that they recommend this.
