Incredible new things opening up for us every day!  Take advantage of our Popular 2-Day Family History Training Classes to keep up.

This month both 2 day trainings  will be presented in one month.  Our Family Tree Basic Training will run Thursday and Friday, March 19 and 20. This two day class will help you get started with your family history and/or get you up to date with the latest changes. Both days begin at 9 a.m. sharp and go until 5 p.m. The second class will follow the next. . .

week on Thursday and Friday, March 26 and 27, with our Research Training. This two day class picks up where the Basic Training leaves off.  You will be shown more effective ways of doing your research and using the ever-expanding array of "tools" provided on the internet. Technology is moving quickly, and we can show you ways to take advantage of  what is out there without being overwhelmed.  If you want both classes, be sure to book both.

Our “Show then Do” method will help you to learn one step at a time, and then get your hands on the computer to experience it and know how to do it yourself. There will be lab time for nearly every class with plenty of time to ask questions and get personal help. Handouts will be available for each class; they will be emailed out to those who booked the class a few days prior to the training, so be sure to register early. If you miss getting them, let the teacher know.

Warning - These classes fill up fast.  If you wish to participate in these very popular trainings, click on the "Book a Class" tab at the top of this page or just click on the following link to register for one or both of the classes:  http://www.genealogynow.org/book-a-class.html

NOTE:  You will need basic computer skills to be able to take full advantage of the material presented in the training.  If you need help with computer skills, classes in Basic Computer Skills are taught each month. If needed, take the computer class first and then take this 2 day class.
