- Dropbox is free up to two gigs.
- Dropbox gives you safe storage for any information you can copy, download, upload, and/or photograph.
- You can access the Dropbox server and get to your files from any computer with internet service.
- You can share information and pictures with anyone you choose that has Dropbox.
- The information you add to your Dropbox can be accessed on any of your other devices with Dropbox or the Dropbox app.
- If you are using one of the genealogy software programs (such as RootsMagic, Legacy, MacFamily Tree, etc.), it stores your data in a folder. You can locate that folder and move it into Dropbox. You can then access that folder on any computer on which the same genealogy software is installed. The exciting part is that Dropbox will keep the data synced between the two computers.
