Hello Cousins All Around The World!!
What a great way to introduce yourself to family history:
Go to the Global Family Reunion!
Go to the Global Family Reunion!
A fun-filled family friendly event was held Saturday at the St. George Family Search Library. This event piqued the interest in family history of grandkids and grandparents, as well as the general public visitors who attended. The casual atmosphere, . . .
challenging bingo game, yummy food truck goodies and general enthusiasm of our guests contributed to the event's success. Visitors were also shown how to map the regions of the world where their ancestors originated. They also saw the live-streamed genealogy first Global Family Reunion meeting all the way from New York City, and they poses for a group portrait.

The current crop of FamilySearch missionaries contributed baby photos for a fun game of “guess who is who.” Those same missionaries also printed out and displayed fan charts that showed seven generations of their own families. All these well-organized activities contributed to the success of this event and an increased interest in family history.
Early St. George Historical Figures came to our Reunion yesterday; Brigham Young, Jacob Hamblin and Judge McFarland (the hanging judge.) Erastus Snow came earlier, but had to leave for another engagement. We were able to meet them and ask them Questions.
Thanks so much St. George Live.
Thanks so much St. George Live.
Visitors also learned how to access “Relative Finder,” at www.relativefinder.org, where they could find out how they are related to famous Americans, prophets, apostles, signers of the Declaration of Independence, etc., as well as the missionaries at the St. George Family Search Library. With a little planning, you could use this program to find out if you are related to people in your ward or in your neighborhood!
