The St. George FamilySearch Library is offering classes for both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts to earn their merit badges or Cub achievements that relate to Family History.

We are offering classes for the Boy Scout Genealogy Merit Badge as well a support for the Wolf, Bear and Webelos achievement awards that apply.

Scout Genealogy Merit Badge:  This class follows the Boy Scout Handbook while making the steps clear and more easy to follow. Scouts are able to complete Sections 1, 4, 5, 8, and 9 at the Library. They then will receive a packet ($.50) along with helpful instructions to complete the remaining listed requirements. The teachers can be consulted further if needed, but when the requirements are completed, the counselors will sign off each boy's record of completion.
