I’m sure that most of you have seen the new Photos and Stories feature that is now a part of the FamilySearch website. Many have not tried it yet. Perhaps you aren’t quite sure how to add a photo or a story. Maybe you just don’t feel like you’ve got a lot of time to invest in learning how to use this new feature. Well, help is here and it’s quick and easy. There is help for anyone who wants to learn how to add a photograph or a story to the FamilySearch Photos and Stories site.
                                                                                                                             Click on "Read More."

FamilySearch now has a quick, four minute online video titled Quick Start to Photos and Stories. When they say quick, they mean just that. In just four minutes, this video explains in simple terms how to add a photograph or a story to the FamilySearch site. It’s narrated at a relatively slow pace so that anyone can watch it and not be overwhelmed with the information being presented. It doesn’t try to teach you everything you want to know about adding photos and stories. It simply focuses on the basis of how to add a photo or a story and how to tag them so they can be found by other family members.

If you would like to use an easy to follow handout that you can use as a reference tool, this lesson provides that as well. That way, if you missed something, you can simply look back at your handout and review the process, step by step. Simply click the Handout (pdf) link and you can print out the exact pages you want or the entire set of instructions.
Learning how to add a photograph or a story to FamilySearch has never been easier.
