Genealogy Research "Boot Camp" on Oct 15-17

It is been almost a year since we offered our 4 day training class. Patrons often had to register one and two months in advance to get in. We are pleased to present our new and improved version of this class, Genealogy Research Boot Camp which is a now a 3 day class from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M on Tue. Oct.15-Thur. Oct.17. This class offers hands-on learning with each class member having a computer. Trainers will offer assistance as needed so that every class member will learn the skills needed while working on their own family lines. Because this class is mostly hands-on and the names being researched are their own family names, students will learn with greater interest and thus grasp the needed concepts far more quickly and effectively.

In the "Boot Camp" class members will learn -
Please be aware that you need to have basic computer skills for this class. If your skills are not as yet up to this level, please take our Basic Computer Skills class first and then sign up for the "Boot Camp" class.
Please Come With the Following to Class: It is essential to bring a copy or a flash drive containing your family's pedigree chart that goes back at least three to four generations (Research will begin with names of deceased ancestors.).
If you need help getting your family pedigree, please visit our research room several days before the class begins to get help.
