Look What You Get in this Excellent All-One Day Class!

You want to do your family history, but it has been a long time or you haven’t ever done it and don’t know where to start.
Maybe you have been called to be a Family History Consultant and want some additional support.
The St. George FamilySearch Library is offering a one-day class that will cover the basics of using FamilySearch to learn more about your ancestors.
It's free & you will learn the steps in:
1. Creating and building your own family tree
2. Learning more about helpful resources available in FamilySearch
3. Beginning your research to extend your family
4. Signing up for the partner sites (Ancestry, My Heritage, etc.) offered to members of LDS Church
5. Understanding “Memories”- adding your photos and stories to your family tree
6. Becoming comfortable with handling duplicate records
7. Using "Descendancy" research
When: Weekly through January (a different day each week) –
January 17, Tuesday
January 23, Monday
February 8, Wednesday
February 16, Thursday
February 21, Tuesday
February 27, Monday
Watch for the dates of the upcoming month's schedule.
Class Time: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch period (on your own).
Classroom: Training Room
Class Handout: A folder of basic resource material will be provided at the end of the class.
Bring: Your flash drive to download additional useful information. If you do not have a flash-drive you can purchase a 32 g flash drive for $12 at the front desk. Please purchase it before the class or no later than during the lunch break.
Sign-up: Because of the class limit of 20 students, seating is limited. Those who signup will have priority.
