Picture
The FS.Research Wiki is an excellent source for research of a wide range of  Irish genealogical research, and it is a very good place to start.
The following two examples are a good place to start.  is an excellent example as to how most articles begin in the Family History Research Wiki
 - with a Content Listing of the topics covered under the title given.

The topics are numbered links, making them quick to access as well as offering an easy method to move from one topic to another.  Click "Read More" to see a list of the topics offered under this title. After that try a second Irish Research Title offered below. It also covers Ireland Research, but with many more important and different sources.

  • 1 Archives and Libraries
  • 2 Cemeteries and Burials
  • 3 Census and Census Substitutes
  • 4 Church Records
  • 5 Civil Registration
  • 6 Court/Criminal Records
  • 7 Directories
  • 8 Emigration Records /Passenger Lists
  • 9 Land/Tax Records

You can Click here to go to the actual site.   While there we encourage you to also click on the word "Ireland" up and a bit left of the top picture (not on the word "Websites." It is not working.)
It will provide a widely different and very valuable listing of Irish research information. These two are just a good beginning of what is available under "Irish" or "Ireland."  Consider using other topics to see what is available on this "Wiki."

Take time to go to the beginning of the Wiki to try out some of your own topics. There is a brief "how to " there. Basically you just type in your desired topic. The two articles offered here, are just a beginning.
