On December 5, 2013, the St. George City Council took up the request to rezone the lot on the corner of 200 East and 600 South by IHC Health Services and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints so that a new FamilySearch Library could be built. . .
After the unanimous vote, Mayor McArthur took time to describe many of the exciting offerings of the new FamilySearch Library including how this will be a "unique" building with a Discovery Center and many other original and exciting features that may become a pattern for other FamilySearch Libraries.
The architect's plans for the new building are underway but not yet shared; however, knowing the exact locations is exciting and helpful. As soon as there is more information we will put it out for our readers.
